Now the Immigration has set up PC cameras and will take every one’s picture for the record. Many people still came with either visa on their passport or somehow pre-arranged with an agent.
I have witnessed about 12 people filling form and queuing at the Visa-On-Arrival desk.
A few days ago, two Spanish couple were deported because they filled “Journalist” for their occupation.

i’m a malaysian, so if i would like to travel to myanmar, do i need a visa? or pay for a visa? or just a passport is enough? Thanks.

You are entitled to apply Visa on Arrival introduced since 1st May 2010. But if you want to make sure and go through proper application process, you may fill the form on our web site or read more on Visa Procedure page.
