Translation Visa on arrival will be overseen by a committee of 15 from different concerned Ministries, it is learned. Myanmar introduced “Real” Visa on arrival after scrutinized by a body consists of a Deputy Director from Immigration Department, a department head from Legal and Consular Section of MOFA, a lieutenant from Special Branch of Police, Ministry of Home affairs, an officer from Special Investigation Bureau of Ministry of Home Affairs, a Grade 3 officer from Military Intelligence (Sa.Yah.Pa), a manager from Directorate of Hotel and Tourism and a manager from Directorate of Air Transport, Ministry of Transport. The committee will be responsible for approving/disapproving of each traveler’s application of Visa on Arrival, deportation, visa fees and monitoring revenue to Immigration Department. A sub-department is also formed under Immigration Department with 15 people which also consists of 1 high ranking official.
